School Tube - Collaboration Videos

I chose to look at School Tube and wanted to find a set of videos that would be of interest to me. After browsing around for a while I found a short collaboration video done by a business teacher at a high school. In this video he talked about how collaboration helped his department in remapping their curriculum and in expressing their ideas and thoughts to the rest of the school. I scrolled down to the related videos then and found a number of videos of different teachers from the same school. These videos were typically done by team leaders discussing their team, professional development they recently participated in, and how these ideas were being presented to her specific team. It was great to see the multiple teams and how they used collaboration. Also, it made me feel that administrators could use this website to their advantage as another way to communicate the minutes or bullet points of a meeting or a series of meetings.

  1. Insightful! It is very difficult to collaborate when the darn bells keep ringing and the students keep showing up in your classroom. You've suggested a means to start the collaboration ball rolling and the participants don't have to be computer geeks to make it work. When do you start rolling the ball at your school?
